i could go on and on about how disgusting i find all this, how sad it is for our earth, and how bp’s oil spill only highlights mankind at his worst… but what’s the point?

for most of us, we all feel the same sort of sadness and disappointment when this topic arises, and unfortunately don’t have much power to change or prevent the environmental, economic and political effects this disaster will have on our generation, and generations to come. all i can say is i’m sorry those “big” people don’t have what it takes to be responsible for much more than cashing their checks and making their shareholders happy, not even after 30 years. you’d think that maybe, just maybe, they may have tried to learn from their own selfish mistakes. that might just be too much to ask, though.
